News update November 2008Newent won the Gold Award in the Heart of England in Bloom competition 2008!
Organisers of Newent in Bloom are on Cloud Nine after getting gold at their third outing in the Heart of England competition. It won the award in the small town category against dozens of other entries from eight counties.
A jubilant Lyn Ashton from Newent in Bloom said: "We worked for it and deserved it. Now Newent is the flower town of the Forest."
