Easter Monday

The Annual Coleford Carnival of Transport is held on the streets of the town. The event is organised by real enthusiasts for everyone’s pleasure and is well worth a visit. Free Park and Ride facilities are organised at the outskirts of the town on the A4136 at Five Acres and at Sling on the Lydney road. Transport into the centre will be by Route-master coach which will run all day. Does this sound like your idea of a good way to spend your Easter Monday?

If you like looking at cars, motor bikes or commercial vehicles that you have not seen for years, this is the place to be. Imagine the conversations that take place as enthusiasts inspect engines, wheels, paint finishes and interiors of the vehicles that once graced the showrooms in our cities while the rest of us caught the bus to work or rode our trusty bikes.

As well as the main attraction there will also be Auto-Jumble stalls, a must for the person looking for that elusive spare part for their pride and joy. We also cater for the rest of the family and welcome everyone to our town. Some of our shops will be open on the day and we hope that you will give them your support.
