Cinderford Christmas Lights
The 2nd of December saw the Christmas Lights Switch-on in Cinderford. There were lantern workshops and puppet shows in the Triangle during the morning, with Market Street being closed from 2.00pm. to 8.00pm. In the afternoon, there was be a pig roast and market stalls with traders in Victorian dress and Fairground rides were at hand for fun loving youngsters. Father Christmas led the parade with the Emerald Marching Band.
The parade left Denecroft car park at 5.00pm travelling through the High Street to the Triangle where Father Christmas turned on the lights. A Festive Foods and Christmas Crafts fayre followed on 9th December at the Belle Vue Centre!
